Tip #11

Craving New England Clam Chowder? [I ALWAYS am.] The Campbell’s healthy request one tastes so bad because it’s made with so little sodium. Instead of adding salt, add hot sauce. Hot sauce has a lot of salt in it, and it gives it that spicy kick that speeds your metabolism, leaves you feeling fuller and makes it taste better!

Tip #10

Control the scale, not the other way around. You don’t like what the scale says? Change it. Go out for an afternoon walk. Do not beat yourself up over a number; just change it - the healthy way.

I keep seeing pictures going around of really skinny girls with big boobs.

Unless you have big boobs now, do not make that your thinspo! getting skinny will not give you bigger boobs! In fact, it may make them shrink! Have realistsic thinspiration/fitspiration before you beat yourself up over not looking like someone in a photograph. This is officially tip#9.

Tip #8

Measure and log everything. The simple gratification of knowing exactly how many calories you’re taking in will put you at ease, and we all know that being at ease with our diets helps everything run smoother. Also, do not lie. We all know that feeling that we get when we enter something in and realize it had more calories than we thought. Just take a deep breath and realize that maybe next time, don’t eat so much of that particular thing. Stay healthy <3

Tip #7

Eat less bread! You do not need two slices of bread for every sandwich, especially if it isn’t whole wheat. Try using the thick inner pieces of iceberg lettuce as the outer part of your sandwich. You’ll be surprised at how good it tastes! The exceptions of course are pbj sandwiches. For that, try using only one slice of whole wheat and fold it in half. It’s a great way to just shave a few calories off that just might help you achieve your goal a little quicker.

Tip #6

Mm, chips&dip sounds good, right? Wrong. The amount of calories in the sour cream dip plus the fatty potato chips is just gross. Even if you’re not trying to lose weight, you shouldn’t eat them; they’re awful for you. A healthy alternative is baked tortilla chips and salsa. Salsa is all vegetables with a kick of spice! What more could you want? You get your salty fix and the salsa will fill you way quicker than the dip would. It will also leave you feeling fuller because of the amount of veggies! Still not healthy enough? Try sliced baby bella raw mushrooms in hummus! It gives you the feeling that you’re satisfying your chip&dip snack craving by dipping the sliced mushrooms into the hummus like its dip. Stay healthy!

Tip #5

Craving ranch dressing? Well, that’s one of the most fattiest salad dressings around. Still craving ranch dressing? Take a tablespoon of ranch and plop it into a separate small bowl. Splash some skim milk in there and mix it all up. Now you have a thin dressing that’s enough to cover your entire salad while still giving you that ranch you crave. [Works with Blue Cheese, too!]

Tip #4

I don’t care what your favorite type of music is, if you have cable television you need to wake up to MTV and dance. It’s the littlest thing, but not only does it boost your mood because you’re starting your day off with positive energy, but it’s also a great way to just burn a few extra calories. I don’t care if you’re a punk rocker, I myself don’t like rap, but Snoop Dogg is MAH MAN every morning when I jam out as I get ready. Trust me, you’ll see results in your mood which will only help you see results in your body.

Tip #3

Do. Not. Set. Unrealistic. Goals. Listen, if our tummy skin didn’t ‘roll’ when we sat down, the skin on our stomach would tear when we stand up. Yes, fat does roll but even at your ultimate goal weight, your skin will always pucker there. So don’t set goals you can’t ever reach, because that will only kill you. Stay healthy. That is my ultimate tip. Stay healthy.

Tip #2

Buy clothes that are too small to fit. Having a physical object that you can test really helps you meet a goal. Also, keep the clothes you originally had when you first started on your journey. Periodically putting those clothes on and just seeing and feeling the difference is amazing. That is the ultimate inspiration, and that is all you.
